Some may realise, problems of "poor care" which are related to attitudes, extend way beyond the hospital or care home or whatever. They reflect attitudes within society, and are politically influenced. In this UK case, we have a British man , terribly abused by a British family, and kept as a slave (2014). Recall also horrors within other countries that have occured in the past, and still occur. Most involve the vulnerable ie " less worthy" (as regarded by some). Recall also, historical accounts of the care and treatment, of such vulnerable people. No wonder we have poor care within some healthcare establishments- at times.
In essence, we are all born to survive. Does care really exist naturally ?
