Poor care will always exist in whatever area or field.

Whilst some have different expecations and therefore, levels of acceptance (Dimon 2013), there may also be  a degree of complacency. What causes this? The case of- we are not as bad as some, no perfect ward or care home exists, nothing can be done, just do job and go home etc. This is what we deal with- few intend to be uncaring. Happens in all occupations. You see, but do not see. They who fight it- have personal reasons for doing so or extreme degrees of empathy.
