Care minister Norman Lamb

So Mr Lamb. It is so easy-- neighbours to care for old people in their own homes. Yes we know you mean well---. Consider human rights, needs and wishes. Many old people will not allow others to care for them . My older neighbour some years ago, would hardly let me in the front door. Some insist their children only, care for them- despite the fact they work and live some distance away (The mother thing. Another subject).then of course- who are these neighbours? Are they to be trusted?? Link to earlier blog- many people today, will not allow others to help them for various reasons. One answer may be- more voluntary bodies with individual checks on people and assessed individuals as to their requirements. Cannot be done on a whim.
